Black and Gold Logs and Lilies 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Someone has stolen a day … I am sure today is Wednesday, but the calendar and the computer tell me it is Thursday! So I am publishing my mid week Log Cabin collection of designs today, as today is Wednesday in my world.

Hopefully I will get the week sorted by tomorrow and will treat the day like a normal Friday!

This project file is my virtual view of the back of some virtual Log Cabin designs after quilting … after all, every quilter wants to see the back of every quilt we see.

In these designs I have shown the dark side of the Log Cabin blocks ditch quilted, with an applique type motif quilted on the light side of the blocks.

Of course the contrast could be reversed, but we would have to turn the quilt over to see where the light and dark sides really are.

Love the one above, at least from the back!

More Log Cabin designs mid week, next week … or maybe it might appear some other day.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

LOL you are so right about us wanting to see the backs. It is almost impossible to look at a quilt at a show and not want to turn the edge to see the stitching on the back. The same thing happens at our guild meetings too.
