Birds in the Orchard 13, 14

Lots of space to quilt! I think I would basically cross hatch, but add a few flying birds swooping and gliding over the surface.

No birds on the second design, but the little fountains and the apple trees are sure to attract them sometime.

Again, lots of space to quilt, and once again I would keep it simple, with straight lines echoing those narrow borders, and yes, those birds would be flying around.

The last couple of days I have noticed a lot of birds flying around in addition to the few small birds which fly around the garden catching insects every day, but no photos because I had been playing in the dirt and the camera was safely inside. To cap it off, yesterday as I stepped outside for the first time a kookaburra laughed at me from the top of the tv antennae still standing at the edge of the back verandah.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.
