Gran’s Bead Box 5, 6

Earlier this year I spent a month or so concentrating on drawing a wide variety of beads to applique, then drawing designs using the new shapes, but mixing them up with the traditional simple leaf shape. This is a fun way to waste a few hours, and is a great way to play with beads without the risk of spilling them all over the table, the floor, and anything else within range.

I really should be spending time learning more about machine embroidery as I think these could be interesting embroideries, but I am determined that I will get all block designs sorted, named and into My Library in Electric Quilt.

Then I will have to work out how to keep the embroidery designs nicely sorted before I am overwhelmed by them!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.
