Just one block, recoloured to fill spaces with much more interest than just making the same version over and over.
The centre block in the second design is the block as it appears in full colours.
Also has the quilting design ready to stitch … just follow the seam lines which are not there!
I like the idea of just “coloring in” some of the parts of a block with the background color to change the look of the block. The second design is great and really shows off some the variety that you can get using this method. Great design.

In a real quilt there are some seams which can be eliminated, but even then I would still use the whole block as a quilting motif, but whichever way you made the quilt the effect reveals some interesting results.
