Logs on Point in Purple 46, 47, 48 49, 50

Time for a break from a weird world for a few moments to study some Log Cabin designs.

Some interesting things happen when Log Cabin blocks are used in an on point setting.

Lots of room for quilting in the one above though there are a few seams in the way.

The easiest way to quilt these would be to print the blocks onto fabric … then there are only seams between borders.

Left my favourite for today until last.

More Log Cabin designs, mid week, next week.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

Love the colour choice. I think I prefer the first and the last. Log Cabin is interesting on point. And yes, different times we are living in at the moment. Even our fellow quilters from overseas.

Very different times. More sewing time although I would prefer having more sewing time for a different reason than a pandemic. Hope you all are staying safe and healthy.

    • Cindy,

We are safe and well, but my internet access has been curtailed after updating a computer … but other activities have more than filled in time. I might even have a tidy sewing room one day!
