The Log Cabin designs this week are good candidates for foundation piecing, though I don’t think you would need a foundation for the solid blocks around the edge of the first one.
The second one has a few set in corners, some involving triangular Log Cabins.
I think all of these are interesting designs even if they are not as simple to put together as square and rectangular Log Cabin blocks.

Thank you … and don’t worry about anybody else using my computer, and don’t send an email to Butch containing any information not intended for my eyes … I have to operate his email system and any other computing he wants done now that he is retired!

That second last one is amazing. It would be a challenge to piece but the finished result would be worth it! Thankful that I was so well stocked with fabric (fabric stash hoarder). Enough to keep me busy for a long time. Hopefully I won’t have time to get through it all.

I have used some of my quilting fabric stash to make clothes … most of which I bought with that in mind anyway. In the past I have bought fabric to make a skirt or shirt and use it in a quilt instead, so it works both ways.
