Curved Cornerstones 41, 42, 43, 44, 45

Middle of yet another week, and even though we are not confined to home, we are staying here except for necessities. There is not much else to do anyway as pretty much everything on the calendar has been cancelled.

Curved Cornerstones was a result of me asking myself a question … What if Chimneys and Cornerstones got mixed up with Curved Log Cabin blocks?

The results are interesting!

I like the one above, but it needs a bit of dark in the centre, and so does the one above that!

If we have to stop socializing for long enough I may get time to play with all the project files which could use some updates … about twelve months might be long enough, providing I don’t have to wash dishes, floors or clothing or any other domestic chores.

My favourite for this week is the last … or maybe the first.

That’s all the Log Cabin designs for this week … more next week!

Stay well until then.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

Interesting combining the two designs. Yes, I might get more sewing done as places are closing and events cancelled. Hopefully there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

    • Marie,

It was fun mixing the two designs, and some of the results are great.

When they started talking about keeping us apart I was just about to contact you to arrange to meet up for coffee … that is not an option for a while now, but I am trying to concentrate on dressmaking! I have had some items cut out for quite a few years and have even dropped some into the laundry basket on completion instead of hanging them up in the wardrobe!

I totally love the results of combining of these two. Really loving these. I also am hoping to get caught up on more sewing this next while during the social isolation over the next few months. I might try one of these patterns. I especially love the first and second ones.
