Beads and Bubble Blocks

I started playing with Strings of Bead blocks long before I started playing in Electric Quilt, then more recently I started playing with Bubbles. The bubbles started out being small circles randomly placed, but quickly evolved into random but recognisable shapes, then became more precisely placed to create shapes.

After a few months I started thinking about adding different shape beads to the strings …

… and now beads and bubbles are rolling and floating together into a multitude of formal designs, with more random placements in mind for the future.

Huge possibilities for future playtimes.

It is like being given a brand new box of crayons and being told you can color whatever you want!
