I wondered what I could do if I was ever silly enough to accumulate a large box of small, circular scraps, so started playing with the idea in Electric Quilt.

I started just scattering them around, then thought I could follow lines … like the lines of Double Wedding Ring.

Looks good to me!

I suspect that the many variations possible with String of Beads. I must remember that when we have a rainy day, and no shopping to do, no appointments to go to, or even visits to family and friends which cannot be put off until the weather is finer.

How to use this idea? I think I would fuse them onto the background, and then hand stitch. Far too many curves for machine work.

It would be a perfect project for sitting watching television with the hubby. I imagine most of the string of beads designs would work with this shape too although the ones where the points meet would not be as pretty with the circles.
