White on White Gold 16

About to hit the road for a couple of nights away, so just one design, but that is all I promise anyway!

However, I have made the decision to share more most days from now on … if there is time!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

I can see this one in color in my mind’s eye and it is a beautiful design!

    • Cindy,

But what colour? I have one of these on my to do list, and I am still thinking about the colour. I am thinking that if I keep thinking, one day I will walk into a quilt shop and find the perfect colour!

I was not thinking of just one color. I can see the vase in gold and the flowers in different colors. The urns in a pewter and the birds in blue. Multicolored. I think this would look great as a white on blue as well. I am not a huge fan of white and red so that would not be one of my choices.

    • Cindy,

😉 I actually started this project file with colours, then when I accidentally created a white out in another file I wanted to play with some more white out designs! I am yet to try one out for real, but I think they would be very restful with low contrast colours. However, my first intention with all the block designs I use in eh white out designs were originally coloured.

Just had another thought … just plain white with black silhouettes could be interesting. That is why I love Electric Quilt. Any thought which comes into my head I can play with without damaging my fabric stash!
