Festival Garden 16

I was browsing and wondering what project file would be a good one to share today.

This one jumped out and said ‘Take me’ … we are sanding paint off kitchen cupboards, and though the majority of the wood dust is coming from the doors which are being sanded outdoors, the frames have to be done in situ. The background colour in this design is the colour of every flat surface in our kitchen at the moment, but with any luck the last bits will be done today, everything can go back into the cupboards and then I can do some dusting!

Not a terribly inspiring reason to choose a particular virtual design to show you, but it does bring back memories of the day this project file was started at a quilt exhibition while I trying to encourage visitors to design their own quilts.

Enough about domestic matters, here is a link to something way more important … an article about understanding quilt batting.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

The cream and green are the colors of my kitchen and dining areas, Judy. How did you know? 🙂
