Nine Patch Scrappies 8

I haven’t mixed up the scraps enough for it to look like a proper scrap quilt, but I would sort the scraps into very dark, an accent colour for the mid green patches, and light for the background.

In fact, I would use a bigger scrap for the green, so they are all the same.

The medium scraps could be used in the border.

Hi, So, I really like this quilt. Is there a pattern and how do I get it? I’m not very knowledgeable about computer things but love quilting. I’ve been thinking about purchasing the EQ program BUT don’t know if I could install it on my computer! This quilt reminds me of “Trip around the World” only modernized. I like it!!! Linda W

    • Linda,

No, there is no pattern for any of my virtual designs.

Electric Quilt does produce a shopping list, but it tends to over estimate most of the time, which I figure is to cover a few minor cutting mistakes. You can print out templates, or rotary cutting instructions, as well as full colour or line drawings of blocks and quilts. Not an easy program to learn, mainly because it can do pretty much everything we could want it to do except make the quilts. The key to learning is to practice, practice practice!
