The first three designs for this weeks Mid Week Log Cabin Retreat are very similar.

Eight blocks have changed for the second design.

Just four blocks changed for the one above.

I am not going to try to count the number of blocks changed for the fourth design for the day.

When I opened this project file there were just five designs left to share, but I have added enough for another mid week retreat sometime in the future.

More Log Cabin designs in the middle of next week … though I have to attend and then recover from a real weekend retreat with fellow quilters before then!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

No favourites today, they are all interesting in their own way. Its amazing how different the designs can look, just by changing a few blocks. Well, I hope you enjoy your quilting Retreat.

    • Marie,

I am often amazed at how much a little change makes to a design, and how quickly a few changes make something totally different to where I started.

You have a good time too, and sometime soon we will have to swap stories!
