Super Sashing 33

Something different … the sashing is the three skinny strips with a wide strip on each side of them, and the sashing square is the small pieced block.

Lots of room for quilting. But what sort of quilting?

My first thought was lots of curves, but then thought that I would use lots of straight lines … echo the inner border all the way into the busier pieced area, and even then keep to straight lines outlining the contrast areas of the pieced blocks and sashing plus a few extra lines to fill in open spaces.

Another question is would I stick to black and white, or use a different colour, or multiple colours?
