Multi Colour Cabin 21, 22, 23, 24, 25

Did you notice how slowly the last week passed? It feels like two weeks since we had a mid week virtual Log Cabin Retreat.

Wish forgetting to put up some Log Cabin designs was all it took to slow down time!

It seems that every time I play in this project file I use the feature in EQ that allows us to rotate all the blocks … something I rarely do in any other project file.

I like the one above, though I think it would have to put it on the bed with the right hand side at the top.

Love the one above! Lots of possibilities with a few twists and turns and block changes.

Love the last one too. I did some rotating individual blocks and changed some blocks after rotating the original design, but not sure which design I started with now!

More Log Cabin designs mid week, next week … or that is the plan!

I will be away from computer for most of the next two weeks, and though I will be using the scheduling feature of WordPress there is no guarantee I will get it correct for every day!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

I love this selection! And how different with the combination of colours.

I especially love number 2 and 4 and 5. I agree with the way you would have to place number three on the bed. I am finally working on a log cabin (black on white and white on black fabrics) I am wishing I had put more color in but will have to see when I have the blocks finished.

    • Cindy,

Probably too late to add red centres … or yellow … or orange which is a mix of the two! Actually, many other colours would have worked, but just black and white usually look rather stunning too.
