Love this design, but it needs some quilting like many other of my project files that have been around for a long time. Not enough hours in the day to play!

At least with this series a lot of the quilting could be based on the applique designs, but then so are the others which need some virtual quilting. Have to leave some time to play with a real needle and real thread!

At the moment the needle and thread work is mending, altering and making clothing. The pile is diminishing, which means more room to play with important fabric, threads etc in the sewing room.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

Are these designs based on the Wedding ring theme? Different, I like them.

    • Marie,

Yes they are, but I have drawn the blocks as solid rings rather than the normal smaller sections. (I like my rings to be solid gold!) However, they could be made with the more traditional pieced sections for those who are keen on piecing little bits.

I agree there is never enough time to play though I am finally on holiday for two months. It is great though I am not at home so the sewing will be limited to the projects I brought along with the pieces all precut. I believe I have enough for four quilt tops. Will see how much I get done as I definitely want to spend time on the beach as well as on the computer. LOL. Never enough time (chuckle)
