Strawberry Fete 10, 11

This is the first project file I opened in Electric Quilt 8 … and had the first blocks underway in about half an hour. The blocks had been roughly drafted in EQ7, maybe EQ6, but I tidied them up, and had quilts to share before the next virtual quilt was due to face the world.

These two are the last of the quilt designs, and I am thinking that I will retire this project file … though I do really love strawberries, and it will be difficult to put them away forever. The blocks have been saved into my library though, so I an always start a new project file one day in the future.

The next virtual challenge will appear this weekend, and I have started the process of setting up a closed Facebook group … look for

Virtual Quilt Challenges

Click on the Join button, answer three questions, none of them tricky, and I will have to decide if I should let you become a member.

Bribes of fabric will be accepted, and virtual fabric will be acceptable!!

My next personal challenge to create a suitable picture for the group.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

Oh a virtual challenge group sounds like fun. I will be on holiday for two months starting the end of January and hopefully this will “Kick my butt” into learning how to use EQ better. Can hardly wait to join the Facebook group.

    • Cindy,

You will be more than welcome in the group, and I have already approved your membership! I am feeling my way through the process of setting up and being the admin. I hope you do get a chance to play with EQ while on holiday.

I always take my computer away, even if there will be no access to the internet, because I know I can play with quilt designs!
