Toys 4 Christmas 53, 54

It is Christmas morning, and so I must share some toys. Maybe a little old fashioned for some, but will bring back memories for any child who has reached 35-40 years of age.

I love this one.

Leave the wrapping on the floor! My favourite memories include wading through crumpled and torn wrapping paper from Christmas morning until sometime on Boxing day.

The best day was when hubby was working, and we lived about five hours away from family. We were invited to visit one of Dad’s life long friends and his family after lunch. When we arrived the lounge room floor had disappeared under torn wrapping paper, so it wasn’t just our family tradition.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

    Merry Christmas!
I love your toy series of quilts…so many good memories! I also enjoy the wrapping paper all over the floor…lots of family battles with rolled up balls of paper. Ha, ha!

    • Laura,

Oh, yes … and wrapping up empty boxes to give to your brothers and sisters … and anybody else who looked like they might want and empty box.

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas, with no empty boxes from your family!

We always pick up the paper right away because someone has lost a small piece of something somewhere and we need to find that vital piece of Lego or toy LOL
