Beaded Border Strings 13, 14

In this project file I am just experimenting with String of Beads border corners.

So far there are over fifty quilts, with four or five borders, and though I have repeated some corners, there are still way over a hundred ways to get around the corners. And there may be more added.

Note that there is a round bead used in between the usual bead I have used. One day I will start adding more round beads, and a few other shapes, to the String of Beads collection.

    • Nola,

I hadn’t really considered these as possible real quilts when I started playing in this project file. It was just an exercise to work out how to get around corners. However, many of the designs would work well as a real quilt, especially those where the borders themselves are well mixed up … or perhaps tangled up might be the way to describe the different styles of borders.

It would be even better if I had spelt “quilting” right.
