PJ 1121 Pauline Patch 4

It is always interesting to see what happens when you twist and turn the four corners of blocks. I might have to try playing with just the four patches in the corners of these two blocks instead of the 16 square versions.

This reminds me that I have a photo of a real quilt to share. It is not the same block, but it is a Patchwork Jigsaw!

    Back to Drunkards Path again. What a versatile block it is. Congratulations to the quilt maker too.

      There are a few old blocks which can be varied a little or a lot to make a multitude of designs … my favorites include Drunkard’s Path, Log Cabin and String of Beads. I love the original blocks, but love many of the variations too.
