I love this one, even with some blocks which don’t quite meet their neighbours quite the way I would like them too. There is even a leftover from when I thought I would cover joins in the lead strips with a circle … I don’t think there are any of them left in the block archive even if they are still in some project files.
One of the idiosyncrasies of EQ is that the smallest measurement it will accept is half an inch, though it will draw the pieces it will not give them accurate measurements. One thing I have learned while drawing these blocks in Electric Quilt is that if I want an accurate half inch strip in a 12 inch block I do the drawing in a 24 inch block. I just have to remember to double all the other sizes I want in the block.
I am now drawing 12 inch blocks, or saving blocks drawn as 24 inch blocks as 12 inch, so they all match, or simply placing a block drawn as 24 inch in a quilt with 12 inch blocks.
