Two fabrics, two shapes equal one block.
Make the blocks small and use lots of them to make some very interesting designs.
I use the easy no pins method to join the curves which is featured in Anita Murphy’s book, ‘Drunkard’s Path an easy no-pins technique’.
To design quilts I have always used 4 x 4 blocks, or 16 of the two piece units, but decided to try using just the one unit per block. I have learned that it takes more time this way, but it is more flexible.
This could be fun … I might have to add some more fabrics one day too!
