Log Applique Album 21

I found a long lost group of designs started in EQ5, and thought I should share some of them.

Log Applique Album 22

Most quilts which combine applique with Log Cabin blocks have the applique on the light side of the Log Cabin block, or in the centre of four blocks with the light sides together.

This series of designs uses separate Log Cabin blocks and applique blocks.

I haven’t found many that I absolutely love … yet … but now I have found this project file I just might play around and see what I can find!

So many possibilities … not enough time!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

I like those. The applique blocks set them off. Interesting how some are totally separate blocks and some applique are stitched on the lighter sides of the Log Cabin. Love the colours too!

You always design the prettiest quilts! They inspire me every day. I wish I had time to make more of them. Thanks.

    • Cindy,

Thank you. Time is the enemy of us all! Pity it seems to take so long to clean the house or mend clothing, then races past at a million miles an hour while we cut fabric so there is no time to stitch anything..
