Cabin Fever Christmas Edition 36

Most of Australia does not get snow, but it is our best chance of getting a white Christmas, and enjoy a roast turkey dinner, so there are plenty of ways to celebrate Christmas in July in different ways to our usual hot weather with cold turkey!

Cabin Fever Christmas Edition 37

During the next couple of weeks I will share some inspiration for Christmas projects, though it is not often we need quilts on our beds at the end of December.

Cabin Fever Christmas Edition 38

At least Christmas Log Cabin quilts would be both seasonal and useful in the northern hemisphere, while I sometimes take a Christmas quilt to a real life quilt retreat I take part in at the end of July.

Cabin Fever Christmas Edition 39

In real life the Christmas ‘quilt’ on our bed at Christmas doesn’t have wadding, but is at least patchwork.

As always, more Log Cabin designs next week, mid week.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

I love number 2 and 3. We definitely need quilts here at Christmas. The center of Canada is pretty cold usually and a log cabin quilt is perfect to cuddle up under.

    • Cindy,

I am appreciating quilts at the moment, and am really glad I became a quilt maker! However, in comparison to Canadian temperatures it is still quite warm here!

I like this selection. Just shows you what the colour selection can achieve. I have a Christmassy Log Cabin to show you as well at the July Retreat. Counting down the sleeps now, and starting to pack.
