Bush B 'n' Bs 1

I have learned over the past few days that EQ8 is quite happy to open EQ5 project files which have not been opened since EQ6 found it’s way to my computer.

This is from one of them, in the original form. The one below has a new background, but even that fabric had been used in the project file where I had saved a lot of the blocks.

The flowers are my drawings of some of Australia’s native flowers, formalized into traditional style applique blocks. I did this after I had made a quilt, Bush Garlands,  using some basic wreaths using the designs drawn on paper.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

I love them both. The pale background one is my favorite though I usually like stronger colors.

    • Cindy,

I love both pale and dark backgrounds, and sometimes have a hard time selecting which to use in real quilts. Light usually wins because dark has to have just the right room to look good.
