Bead Collection for Christmas 1, 2, 3, 4

Bead Collection for Christmas 1

I have been thinking about mixing up some bead shapes for some variations of String of Beads for sometime … years … and yesterday i finally sat down and starting drafting blocks, which leads very quickly to paying with quilt designs.

Bead Collection for Christmas 2

This morning I started thinking about more different shapes to add, but that will have to wait until, maybe, next year!

Bead Collection for Christmas 3

So far I am having fun … and liking what is happening when I mix up the limited assortment of bead shapes.

Bead Collection for Christmas 4

Love the last one but more will follow sometime.

I like the second design the best, Judy. I don’t know why, but I think of cross stitching when I look at these designs. 🙂

    • Laura,

      Thank you.

I think I can see your cross stitches … not quite what I was trying to do, but love hearing about what others see in my designs. It will also be interesting if the nature of the designs change when I add more assorted shape beads.

I like these deigns. The 2nd and 3rd take my fancy.

Oh these are beautiful Judy. Love the addition of the extra bead shapes. Looking forward to the new year and more designs. So glad that we get to enjoy your playtime and these designs are great. I think the third and fourth are my favorites today.

    • Cindy,

Thank you. I am planning more beads shapes before I do too many more designs in this project file … maybe not multi faceted diamonds, but at least diamond shapes are obvious omissions so far.
