Fig Jam 26

Fig Jam 26

This is the first time I have blogged from my new laptop!

It is also the first time I have accessed one of my EQ7 project files from Electric Quilt 8! I finally managed to decipher the note the handwritten serial number and password for EQ7 so I could order the upgrade.

Thank you to the Electric Quilt Company for my new toy!

I will have to find time to play with the updated program before you see new projects generated from the new platform, but it is here and available for those play sessions when I sneak some time out from real life.

So far I like what I see, but as usual with anything new on a computer, I keep clicking exactly where the clickable spot is in EQ7 instead of just to the left a bit in EQ8. Or right, as the case may be. Considering how much I enjoy playing with quilt designs in EQ, this program has got to be the best value for money toy I am ever likely to own.

Best of all, I have access to all my original and redrafted blocks in my own library in the updated program!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.
