Bunch of Beads 11

Returning to the theme of the two days preceding the mid week break … more Strings of beads.

I do like the design above, but not happy with the final strip border.

I often give myself more work when it comes to the final frame around a quilt … I am happy to keep adding narrow strips until I am happy with the result.

I totally agree that it needed the final dark border. I absolutely love this one!

  Thank you. Sometimes just a little extra strip of a contrast, sometimes light, sometimes dark, makes all the difference.

  Thank you. I have been fascinated with String of Beads since I first saw a black and white photo of the basic quilt … and still love it. One day I intend adding some different shape beads!
