I am learning that weeks move more quickly when you retire.
I have a large backlog of designs to share, and just as well … I have barely spent ten minutes just playing with design in Electric Quilt since shifting house.
The design above is a good reason to try to find time to play, but maybe next week may be a good time to find some time.
Another design I love above!
Well, that is your lot for this week’s virtual mid week retreat … and even if I don’t get time to play for a while, it is unlikely that I will run out of designs to share.
Besides, I really need to find some quilt sandwhiches so that one of them can be inserted into the quilt frame for some time playing with real quilting!
I can hardly wait to be retired and see for myself how fast the weeks go by!

Laura,
I think it would have been great to retire 20 years ago … it would be much easier to keep up!

Wow. I really cannot choose between the last four. These are great! I found time started moving faster as soon as I hit 50. I cannot imagine how it will speed by when I retire!

Cindy,
Thank you!
I think someone winds the clocks up faster for those over 50!

I like todays selection Judy. I haven’t quite retired (if that makes sense) I do voluntary work instead of looking for work, because I’m not quite 65, or 66 these days! Friday still seems to come around faster these days though.

Marie,
Thank you.
It used to be that Friday took forever to come around!
