Another week has raced by, helped along by daylight saving starting for the remainder spring, summer and into autumn.
This has disrupted my life by an hour, but has played all sorts of tricks with my blogging routine, especially the bit where I need to hit the publish or schedule button.
Perhaps I could blame moving house and retirement for the disruption, as daylight saving has been around for some time, though I still prefer to live by the sun, which means in summer months I get up early so I can retire inside when it gets too warm for me outside.
Hopefully I will get this mid week retreat blog to arrive in your inbox at the regular time in your part of the world.
And maybe the next week will see a return to regular scheduling … wish me luck!
After all that, I think I like the first design best today.
More Log Cabin designs next week, mid week … or sometime around the middle of next week if things don’t quite go to plan!
I don’t like resetting the clocks every spring and fall. I wish we could just leave the time alone and rise and shine when we’d like to. 🙂

Laura,
You and me both! I really do wonder how many people really make the most of the extra light at the end of the day … I would prefer extra light in the morning when it is cool.

I like them all, but I dislike daylight saving. I vaguely remember it being only 2 or 3 months, not like the ridiculous length it is now.

Marie,
I could handle two or three months, but six months is far too long!
