Logs in the Pale 6

Time for another mid week Log Cabin retreat, though it seems like just a couple of days since the last retreat.

Logs in the Pale 7

That is because I really retreated over the weekend with 38 other quilters.

We ate well, we talked, we slept, we breathed in the sea air, we laughed loud and long …

… we even did a few stitches, some by hand, some by machine.

It is always nice to come home though, but we have plans for next year!

Pity we can’t have some real mid week retreats between now and then!

Logs in the Pale 10

My virtual quilts today are a bit washed out, but that is the reaction to coming down from a high!

Not too sure that I like the second of today’s designs … note to self to do better next week.

More virtual Log Cabin quilts next week, mid week.

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

I’m with you, the 2nd design didn’t do anything for me either. Unusual colour design tho’. I’m glad you enjoyed your Retreat. I went to one in February, and it was a very enjoyable weekend. Like you said, ate, talked, slept, and a little sewing done as well.

    • Marie,

Quilters retreats all seem to follow the same program, and there is very little I would change! Well, maybe more stitching might be nice, but only if it doesn’t get in the way of the other stuff!
