I am still recovering after attending a small group exhibition over the last weekend.
Some old friends were there, and there were a lot of new friends to meet.
There were also 100 quilts to look at and drool over.
I love playing with design, sorting and sourcing fabrics, and making quilts, but one of the best things about quilting are the people who make them.
The other best thing … sleeping under a real quilt.
Another weekend away ahead … this time retreating to Victor Harbour … with several other quilters. Sorry you can’t all be there too!

I have made some wonderful real life friends through quilting … and virtual friends through virtual quilting too. However, I much prefer sleeping under the real quilts!

Enjoy your Retreats! Not long now to the one we both go to. I’m still trying to work out what to sew. Possibly what I started last year. I like this selection of designs by the way.
