I love sharing Log Cabin quilt designs mid week, every week, but why are there so few days between the middle of the weeks? Or are the days only missing in my little corner of the world?
Love the one above … and the one below.
It is so easy to make mistakes when putting Log Cabin blocks together, but sometimes the wrong way can be tweaked into a great design.
The first time I saw the propellers similar to the ones above it was a mistake, but now I look for propellers sometimes, just for fun!
Love the reversed colours in the one above.
I might just have to prepare some designs tonight for the next mid week retreat, before it is too late … so check back soon to see if my weeks are really getting shorter!
I love all of these, most especially the last four. They have so much movement! I know what you mean about short weeks. Our time in Mexico flew by this year. What a rude awakening to come home to frigid Manitoba winter after the gorgeous weather in Playa del Carmen.

Cindy,
The clocks must work faster south of the border! It must be the heat. And of course, now you are home, the clocks are nearly frozen.

Yes, I agree, weeks are getting shorter! Cosidering it’s nearly April! Which means the end of July is just around the corner. That’s scary. Not sure how the propeller look came about, but I like them.

Marie,
I have pretty much packed my bags for the end of July … I don’t want to get to the Brook and not be able to find needles and thread for that last weekend! Now I have the important things packed I will have to concentrate on the rest of the house!
