This is a brand new favourite project file … though only brand new in that i haven’t shared anything from it until now.
I have been trying to draw quilting designs with filler designs included, and the main thing I have found so far is that it takes a lot of patience to delete parts of lines so they don’t cross the flowery bits of the quilting … and I haven’t thought to much about filling spaces around and between feathered designs yet!
This virtual project will keep me busy playing for a long time!
This design is pretty. I’d love to make an appliqué quilt someday… maybe 2017? 🙂

Having done some work in EQ I definitely understand it taking time to delete lines! Very time consuming.

Cindy,
I have just been looking at another project file which involved deleting lines around more intricate quilting so the background filler didn’t cross the rest of the quilting design … or the applique. I have now decided that it makes a lot more sense to just show the intricate part of the design, and let everyone use their imagination to ‘see’ the filler design.
