Sunflowers and Mushrooms 32

The colours of South Australia at the moment!

Canola is in flower, grass and food crops that are still standing after recent storms in some areas of the state are about to turn from green to gold.

We have been away for a week, and managed to miss most of the bad weather, but we joined in the power blackout before we left, along with everyone else. Fortunately, we had power back in about 9 hours … some isolated areas are possibly still waiting nearly two weeks later.

The first day of the trip I spent at a quilt exhibition.

I love the sunflowers. Wow what a display of talent at the quilt show. They were amazing. Thank you for sharing the link.

    • Cindy,

Our state guild has some very talented members, and some very keen beginners, and everything in between! This exhibition was great, with lovely quilts, and lovely people as well.
