Sometimes I like less contrast … sometimes I like to work within a close range of colours. This project file was a step in that direction, and I still like it, and I am still working on reducing the different colours and lower contrast than this example.
Another reason to love Electric Quilt … through three upgrades I have pretty much every project file I have ever opened, and I can see when opening older files designs they remind me of how I was thinking ten years ago. I am pleased that I still like those designs, but know I will never make them real. There are too many newer designs I want to try!
First though, I am trying to clear out the UFO pile, which is much more real than EQ files, before I start too many new real projects. EQ project files at least don’t take up space in the sewing room!

Not quilting, but I have found a candidate I would happily vote for in an election … pity we have just had one here in Australia.
