Log Cabin Baby Blocks 21

Ooops! Late!

I didn’t sleep in, but had to unload the car to find the computer charger.

I went away for a long weekend with thirty plus quilters, had lots of fun, but was way too tired to unpack when I arrived home after dark last night .

Magic weekend … and have scheduled a week of recovery!

I was on a mission to do ten stitches per day, and exceeded that amount, though probably not by much … did need some lozenges to keep my throat from wearing out due to using way more than ten words a day!

I am hoping a virtual retreat today will help with that recovery.

I might sneak in a bit of virtual quilting during the unpacking process!

More Log Cabin designs next week!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

Wow these are all beautiful. Would love to be on a retreat like yours. That many quilters together means fun!

    • Cindy,

It is fun! Or it is with the two groups I retreat with anyway. It was the 20th year this lot have got together, though some of the faces have changed, and not just because of the passing time!

I love this selection. I have not made a diamond shape Log Cabin before. You have encouraged my temptation with these designs. My advice to any quilters, if you have the chance of a Retreat, take it! As Judy said, they are a lot of fun, catching up with friends, and sometimes actually getting some projects done. I found my phone charger when I was unpacking!, luckily I didn’t need it.

    • Marie,

The only difference between making these and a square Log Cabin block is keeping that angle accurate.

I didn’t have my phone charger with me to lose, and had to use the computer to charge it … then left the computer charger behind! I did find two of Joy’s folders in my bags, but she took my coffee! Countdown to next year is going down!
