More low contrast, but a bit more colour than yesterday’s design.
When choosing fabric for any quilt we look for light, medium and dark fabrics, regardless of the colours, but the dark doesn’t have to be black, or anywhere near black.
The light in this design isn’t white either, which leaves less room for contrast, but there is still enough contrast to define the patchwork.
For me, low contrast in light colours is restful and elegant. Of course, you can choose low contrast in darks too … they tend to look warm and welcoming.
