A Whiter Shade of Pale 6

A Whiter Shade of Pale 6

Just how low can the contrast go ?

Pretty low like this makes a very elegant quilt if the fabrics are chosen well. Not something I think will be suitable for our bedroom, but I love it anyway.

Quilting on light backgrounds always shows up the shadows in the quilted ditch well, and a slightly darker thread makes them seem deeper.

Even the cat is low contrast!

You are very right about the low contrast aiding in the elegance! Very subtle yet as you say elegant. Very beautiful.
