Quilting at Eleven 4

Back to the real world after the Christmas break, time to prepare for the New Year celebrations.

Quilting at Eleven 5

At this time of the year my virtual world is the touch of normality in my life, but I wouldn’t want to miss the disruptions to daily life!

    • Sandra,

This whole series is very feminine. I sometimes have to work a bit harder to make more masculine designs, as most are pretty, but not as feminine as this series.

Almost spring like and so nice to see after the usual dank and damp UK Christmas.
Light and airy – UK houses tend to feel rather stuffed up with all the Christmas dodads.

    • Cherie,

We are living in opposite climates at the moment!

By comparison our houses are rather open to the elements … including the heat! We used to add verandahs all the way around, or at least on two sides of the house, but now we are only building houses with a porch!

Our house is usually filled with Christmas dodads, but left them in storage this year as the MOTH had an op early December and is on crutches … didn’t think he would be a uncomfortable decorating a tree if he fell over one or more of them!
