I love the frame around the blocks, but it would be fiddly to do.

I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.

I think it would be worth the effort … but I need to lessen the UFO pile before starting new projects, and even then this one would be way down the list.

I like the frame around the blocks too, but I guess when you break it down, it’s only extra strips. Some designs do have a lot of strips or pieces, like my favourite, L.C. Worth it for the overall look. I like this one better, maybe because of the green.

Yes, of course they are just strips … though because of the angles they are sometimes a wierd width. But if all the strips were cut the same width the block could finish up a weird size, but I guess it doesn’t really matter providing they are all the same size.
