Pretty.
I spent a hot weekend slaving away sorting out project files hidden away in EQ6 … some of them were almost ready to introduce to the virtual world as a series of virtual quilts, one was ready, but they got left behind in the rush to get into EQ7.
I am now looking for names for series which are a little more inspired than Applique 3 and Pieced and Applique 2. The one that really has me stumped is similar to some very light and white series, … darker but low contrast, Will have to dust off the thesaurus … and dictionary so I can spell thesaurus. (Thank goodness for spell check.)
Now I need another hot weekend to finish the EQ6 clean out … who knows what else I will find!
Funny, you mention a thesaurus. I just ordered one from Amazon to send to my grandson. 🙂

This is really pretty. Would be fabulous with hand dyes. Love the colors.

Cindy,
I hadn’t thought of hand dyes, just pretty and tiny florals and muted prints, but hand dyes, and batiks too, would look OK.

I agree, very pretty. Clever, combining string of beads with stars and bows (or whatever they are meant to represent) Colours gorgeous too.

Marie,
Have to admit this was String of Beads at a very early stage of making them virtual!
And yes, they are bows … derived from a block members of one of my favourite groups didn’t always call Barbara’s Beautiful Bow when they had trouble piecing the block together.
