This one is my favourite Log Cabin this week … and it came about when I was playing with the two designs above which I didn’t like much.

That is an illustration of why I have learned to save designs I don’t like much so I can play with them later!

About Virtual Quilter

I am a quilter who designs many more quilts than I will ever make, and I am sharing one quilt design every day in Virtual Quilter. I also share my completed projects in Stuff-Ups, and Christmas decorations in Christmas Everyday of the Year.

It is always surprising when we put something away for a while and then when we take it out we notice something different. I agree that the last one is very different but I kind of like the ones that you were “not so much” That is what is so great about quilting and about people. We don’t have to be the same or like the same things. It keeps life exciting!

    • Cindy,

Being a virtual quilter means not a lot of time or money is spent on the designs I don’t like as much as others, but I can still share the design here in a neat tidy and attractive format.

I like them all. They all have their own special qualities. And I agree, you are very lucky with EQ7, you can play around with material and blocks. Bit different with actual material and blocks once cut and sewn, slightly limiting too. Whereas you can play and alter to your hearts content!
