Like it!

Just basic Nine Patch blocks and some great contrast fabrics.

    Love Stars!

    • Julie,

I like stars against a dark sky … or background. Not keen on dark stars on light though.

It is hard to avoid star shapes when designing pieced blocks though, and I have drawn up many of them … but tend not to use them in real quilts.

I like it too! It is really sharp with the contrast fabrics and I love stars!

  3. This is lovely! makes me want to create it, which is probably pretty much the point! Love Suzy

    • Suzy,

Exactly the point! I also hope that visitors here can see that it mixing a sample of very simple blocks can create some stunning designs … providing the contrast is good.

I just love this! Do you have the pattern up for sale?

    • Kim,

I don’t have the pattern for sale … but am working on a system to sell pattern sheets for the blocks, with shopping lists for quilt designs. My main problem will be keeping track on which block sheets are read and waiting when I do the shopping lists!

If you have EQ7 all the blocks are in the EQ block library and you are welcome to copy and give it a go … and I would love to see the results!
