Red and White 2 Block Quilts 81, 82, 83, 84 and 85

Red and White 2 Block Quilts 81

There are some interesting meetings at corners of blocks in the first two designs.

Something to explore in more detail one day … I have lots of things to explore on that one day, so hope it is a very long day!

Those meeting places without the centre of the Nine Patch blocks would be Four Patch blocks, and would be outside my usual preferences for symmetrical blocks. Very nice diagonal lines though!

Even using the same block in all of the last three designs for today  creates different looking frames dependent on the designs being framed.

I think I like the first one best of this lot, or maybe the one above.

Whatever, I might change my mind tomorrow!

Interesting. I like the diagonal lines in them too, and I prefer the fourth one as well.

I like the second last one the most. Love the diagonal lines as well.

    • Cindy,

I found actually mixing the blocks design together tedious, but it is wonderful to see what happens when block a meets a collection of other blocks. And yes, always like finding diagonal lines.
