Interesting!
Think I need to decide which colours I am going to use in this series … before I get confused about which colour I am using too often!
Think I will go with the colours in the top design.

I am a quilter who uses a computer program to design way more quilts than I could ever make in several lifetimes.
The quilts featured on this site have never been made. No stash has been harmed in the process.
This site is a chance to show the un-used and unseen designs to others, and occasionally share designs by making some EQ8 project files available by email on request.
Please note that my only association with the Electric Quilt Company is as a very satisfied customer.
I prefer to be in a tag free zone and award free area. I am just happy to know you came for a look.
The colors seem brighter in the top one. Again I have to say that I love log cabin designs. I like the way you can recolor blocks to be in one color rather than the usual half and half and it opens the doors to so many possibilities.

Cindy,
Even playing with Log Cabin blocks in the traditional two colours I am still amazed at the variety of possible designs.

I like them both. The top design has more distinct colours between dark and light, and that’s what Log Cabin is mostly about, I think, shades of dark and light, usually gradual.

Marie,
Possibly somewhere between the two … starting dark but making the dark side changes more gradual towards the centre.
