Red and White 2 block quilt 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60

Red and White 2 Block Quilt 55

I don’t really like the block in the corner of these designs, so I am in a hurry to get the next few designs out there.

However, there are some interesting things happening between the blocks ….

… so that it looks like a whole lot of shaking is going on.

There is a hint of circles too.

Sometimes there are just bits pointing in all directions.

Then something like this appears … I can see some possibilities there, but as it is it looks like a bad headache to me!

  1. With a change in color, perhaps adding another color, I can see the illusion of depth appearing in the last quilt design…a layered effect. Can you see that too? The fourth design is my favorite of those shown here.

    • Laura,

Yes, I can see the possibility of layers with the right contrast in the right place!

It was interesting working on this series … I tried not to see too many possibilities as I did it, or I would never have made it through the 130 combinations. As I add them here I get to see them as new designs, and have started a new project file or two to see what happens.

Well, Judy, the colors are right…but, I have to agree, looks like a migraine to me!
