Virtual Quilter Playing with Blocks

Did you have a look at the Virtual Quilter Playing with Blocks and did you download the blocks?

If you did, you may recognize this design as the last of 43 designs other than the sampler with all the blocks.

I got bored very quickly while trying the blocks in pairs, and simply alternating them, so started playing at design 22 … some blocks just were not going to do anything special without some help.

I actually downloaded the project file too, just to check that it was the same as the one I had sent to EQ, and because I was excited about it being there for others to download.

I wondered what the last design would look like as the centre of a larger design.

I love it … now, I am going to carry on playing, because there may be some better ways of framing the central 9 blocks, and there might be a way of modifying the central 9 blocks too.
