Fans and Blossom Border 11 and 12

Fans and Blossom Borders 11

A sign of spring for the northern hemisphere, sign of autumn for Down Under.

We live in a hot, dry climate, and by this time of the year everything is dry, brown and dusty.

In snowy climates people are looking for spring colour, here we are looking for some green grass, and some rain to wash the dust off.

Happy Easter …. and don’t eat all the chocolate at once!

Different, the first one gives me a touch of the Orient. I love the outer border too, and thanks that I can click on it and get the full look of the quilt!

    • Marie,

The closer look is usually well worth the effort of that one click of the mouse … and I see oriental, but someone else has seen medieval. I don’t think it wouldn’t look out of place in either setting!

They are all so beautiful! I’m thinking tropical/feminine. Beautiful.
