I feel as though I should get back to work … if you can call working with virtual quilts work!
With this series I am working through combinations of two 9 patch blocks.
The blocks are ones I have found while playing … and many of them I haven’t seen elsewhere.
(I have used the same block in the first two designs, just added red to the centre of one of the blocks.)
Now the second block has changed … and boy! what a change in the results.
Another block change, another very distinctive design.
And again with the big change.
Some of these designs appeal to me, some don’t, but I am working my way through all the possible combinations to see what happens.
The movement in the quilts is remarkable! Bravo! Especially number three and four…

This is like fishing… throw in a line and see what comes in. These are some of the simplest blocks I have found, but there is a lot of action happening with them. More complex blocks need more than two fabrics, so there wil be even more happening if I go that far with this experiment!
